A two-day symposium celebrating the 70th birthday of Professor Itzhak Tserruya will be held on October 17-18, 2012 at the Weizmann Institute. The symposium will be mainly devoted to relativistic heavy-ion collisions, focusing on hard and electromagnetic probes. With the advent of the LHC heavy ion program, the field has unprecedented opportunities for detailed characterization of the properties of the strongly interacting Quark Gluon Plasma, benefiting from the outstanding capabilities of RHIC and LHC.
The scientific program will consist of plenary talks during Wednesday and Thursday, October 17,18. To see the detailed program please click on Timetable.
