Models and Amplitudes for LHC Energies

I discuss a number of models and parametrizations attempting to describe soft interaction data eminating from measurements at the LHC. I also display the elastic, single and double diffractive amplitudes, and study their energy dependence as a function of the impact parameter. These amplitudes calculated within the framework of the GLM model are compared to other amplitudes on the market. I analyze critically the main features of the leading models and their deficiencies.
